Targeting MUC13 to sensitise colorectal cancer cells to cell death

About me

I have twenty years’ experience in molecular biology and cellular immunology with responsibility for managing a wide range of research projects. This has involved designing, scheduling and planning experiments, including setting up different assays and techniques, analysing results, documenting data and writing scientific papers.

I am currently a Senior Research Officer at the Mater Medical Research Institute, and my research focuses on identification and characterizing the role of cell surface mucins in infection, inflammation and cancer development.  I have published 18 papers in high-ranking international journals, of which 10 have been first author.
