About me

Clare is a Clinical Research Coordinator and PhD Student with the Dermatology Research Centre. She completed a BSc with The University of Queensland in 2009 majoring in Microbiology and Biomedical Science, and later completed a Masters in Clinical Trial Research with University of Sydney in 2016. She has an interest in clinical trial design, human research ethics, and the use of predictive genetic testing for cancer susceptibility. She commenced her PhD at the beginning of 2019, with the objective of evaluating psychosocial and behavioural effects of reporting personalised genetic results regarding cancer susceptibility to people at high risk of melanoma.
