TRI Foundation Travel Sponsorships Winners

The TRI Foundation Scholarships were initiated to give Research Higher Degree students and Early Career Researchers the opportunity to present their work and to participate in eminent translational conferences worldwide. This provides them with an opportunity to form networks and collaborations and to hear about the latest innovations in their chosen area of research. 

We had a fantastic response from applicants attending conferences all over the world - it was extremely competitive. The applications were scored with weight on a number of categories such as: the attendee's level of involvement in the conference, co-sponsorship from their Institute, the translational nature of the research etc.

The five winners were presented their certificate by Professor Ian Frazer AC FRS, Board Chair of the TRI Foundation and Professor Carolyn Mountford, TRI CEO and Director of Research.
