Title: Systems Microscopy applications in fundamental and translational research; from definition of a new cellular structure to unbiased drug discovery

Dr John Lock heads the Cancer Systems Microscopy lab at UNSW, and is a driver of the newly established Ramaciotti Systems Microscopy Unit.

His research spans fundamental and translational cancer biology, including adhesion, cytoskeletal and signalling systems from cancer cell lines to circulating tumour cells.

His technical foci bridge experimental design, experimental automation, fluidics, automated imaging and image analysis, statistical analysis and data visualisation.
