TRI Core Facilities Open Day 

Come along to the TRI Core Facility Open Day Thursday 16th May and discover the different facilities, learn about equipment and techniques available, and meet the managers and their staff.

TRI is a medical research facility working to combine translational and clinical research, progressing laboratory discoveries into clinical applications for the community. We host a number of core facilities including:

  • Biological Research Facility 
  • Preclinical Imaging Facility
  • Microscopy Facility
  • Flow Cytometry Facility
  • Proteomics Facility
  • Histology Facility
  • Clinical Research Facility
  • TRI@Childrens Clinical Research Facility

Session 1 (9:00am-10:40am):

  • Biological Research Facility (including newly available Gnotobiotic Facility)
  • Preclinical Imaging Facility
  • Histology Facility

Session 2 (11:00am-1:00pm):

  • Microscopy Facility
  • Flow Cytometry Facility
  • Proteomics Facility
  • Clinical Research Facility
  • TRI@Childrens Clinical Research Facility

Additional core facilities are being considered for the future to provide even greater research capability. The open day will provide an overview of the services, facilites and expertise we have, and outline any new equipment and developments within the core.
