BDHP Chronic Disease Theme Forum

Brisbane Diamantina Health Partners (BDHP) will host a Forum on Friday 15 June 2018 for the Chronic Disease Theme at the Translational Research Institute (TRI).

The Chronic Disease Theme brings together researchers, clinicians and educators to translate research into best practice within Queensland’s health sector. Working collaboratively to share knowledge and expertise, our Chronic Disease team is coming together to discuss more widely three key focus areas that cut across current projects:

  • Integration
  • Multimorbidity
  • Data.

Keynote speakers on the day are:

  • Professor John Lynch (Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Adelaide, South Australia)
  • Professor Keith McNeil (Assistant Deputy Director-General and Chief Clinical Information Officer, Queensland Department of Health)
  • Professor Geoff Mitchell (Professor of General Practice and Palliative Care at the University of Queensland)
  • Professor Elizabeth Powell (Hepatologist and Senior Staff Specialist in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Princess Alexandra Hospital).

The Forum is free to attend and morning tea and lunch will be provided.
