EVENT SPACES FOR HIRE AT TRI

NOTE: We are not taking any bookings for 2025. Please contact us in January 2025 when bookings open.

TRI has a range of beautiful and functional spaces available for hire including our 250 seat auditorium for lectures, seminar and student rooms, and the centrepiece of our building - a 7 story atrium. 

PLEASE NOTE: TRI is a research facility, not a function centre, and events to be held here must be of interest to the TRI community, open to everyone in the building, and be in the health/medical/innovation/medtech space.

TRI has fantastic meeting and seminar facilities which are available to hire both by TRI members and externally. As we are not a dedicated conference facility, we do not have event management staff on hand and some expected services may require additional setup. To ensure your event at TRI runs smoothly, we advise that you should source your own event management personnel, who will be guided by logistics staff at TRI leading up to and during your event. 

AUDITORIUM

TRI has a 250 seat state of the art auditorium with adjacent indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for catering and trade displays. The Auditorium is adjacent to our beautiful open-air atrium which is a spectacular space to meet and greet with your audience before your event and during breaks.

SEMINAR ROOMS

TRI’s seminar rooms are co-located with the Auditorium and catering spaces, and can be used stand-alone or with your Auditorium booking for an integrated event. The two rooms can accommodate audiences of 40 ( room 2004) and 60 (room 2003), or can be combined to seat 100.  The rooms are accessed via a door next to the auditorium where you'll enter a foyer area, which can also be hired for catering purposes.

More about the seminar rooms

Room 2003:

  • Located furthest from the entrance doors, room 2003 is the larger of the 2 rooms seating up to 60 people.

Room 2004:

  • This room is the first door on the right as you enter the foyer space, behind the doors next to the entrance of the auditorium. This room seats 40 people and is divided by partitioned walls which can be opened to combine the rooms.

ATRIUM

TRI’s indoor-outdoor garden atrium is a distinctively different venue, suitable for social functions or conference catering for up to 250 guests. This stunning space, can be hired in conjunction with either the Auditorium or Seminar rooms for catering, or as a stand-alone booking.
