Special Ethical Bystander Training - Male champions

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TRAINING IS FOR MALES ONLY

Ethical bystanders play an essential role in nurturing a safe and respectful workplace with zero tolerance for unacceptable behaviour.

The Special Ethical Bystander Training session is for males, as they have previously been under-represented in past training at TRI and UQ. Feedback has suggested that men assumed these workshops were geared towards women. Having male allies as ethical bystanders is crucial and therefore, this particular training session is solely available to male staff and students at the TRI campus so we can build a network of ‘male champions’ within the OneTRI community.

The training will guide participants through specific scenarios in which they will explore strategies that everyday people can use to speak up and take action to make a positive difference. The session will be facilitated by Franc Hayes from UQ’s Respect Team.

Only 25 spaces are available so secure your spot now.
