About the presenter:
Julia Renaud is the TRI Research Engagement and Impact Manager. Julia has more than two decades of experience in communication and marketing, with a particular focus on research communications and technology transfer. Julia has extensive communications experience, with wide-ranging expertise from managing national media and advertising campaigns to developing organisation's social media strategies and content and writing annual reports.

Julia has a science degree from Sydney University and a postgrad in journalism from UQ. She began her career in molecular biology research with CSIRO before moving to QIMR and then into the communications arena, which she has worked with universities, governments, not-for-profits, start-ups and multinationals.
