Australian Translational Genomics Centre (ATGC)

The Queensland University of Technology Australian Translational Genomics Centre (ATGC) was established in 2016 to meet the needs of researchers into human disease and to provide a clinical service (in partnership with pathology service providers) to both the public and private health systems.

ATGC is a Translational Research Institute affiliated facility that is located within the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

ATGC is expert in genomic studies of cancers and of heritable traits. Data generated through ATGC’s accredited facility helps healthcare professionals deliver best possible clinical outcomes by providing a genetic insight into a patient’s disease.

ATGC has the capacity to perform whole exome and Sanger sequencing as well as microarray SNP genotyping and gene expression assays. Our team of expert laboratory staff and bioinformaticians provide a comprehensive service to deliver the highest quality data to our clients.
