Kim Goodair

Financial Controller

Kim Goodair commenced as the Financial Controller for TRI in February 2012. In this position, Kim is responsible for establishing and running the Finance Function for the organisation’s operations pre and post building completion.

Kim came to TRI from Brown Consulting, where, as Financial Controller she established and ran the finance function for a national engineering firm. Prior to joining Brown Consulting, Kim was a senior member of the University of Queensland’s Financial Services Branch responsible for financial accounting, grant reporting and a key contributor to the design and implementation of the university’s ERP solution. Kim has previously held senior finance roles in various large government and commercial organisations across multiple streams of accounting and finance.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and is a CPA.

Michelle Richards

Michelle is responsible for all aspects of planning and implementation of occupational health and safety for TRI. Michelle will be focused on leading and promoting a culture of work health and safety at TRI, and ensuring compliance with statutory workplace health and safety requirements.

Michelle came to TRI from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research where - as a Senior Safety Advisor - she gained extensive experience in all aspects of biological, chemical and radiation safety. She was involved in construction and certification of new laboratory facilities with specialist training in bio-containment and biosecurity. Michelle also provided WHS training and advice for laboratory and support staff.

Prior to this Michelle had over 10 years laboratory research experience in both in London and Brisbane with a background in molecular and developmental biology. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiovascular Medicine and an Advanced Diploma of OH&S.
